New weblogs; dropping PyPI

I've started a new Blogger weblog for recording changes to planet.python.org.

As some people suggested in my PSF weblog post, I've dropped the PyPI feed because it doesn't include much information about the software being released. Personally, I also don't get much out of the PyPI entries.

New weblogs: Muharem Hrnjadovic, Rene Dudfield.

I personally like to see the PyPI announcements. Would you perhaps prefer that I include the full description in the RSS feed?

The feed will remain in the pyblagg aggregator, so I guess it's not all bad.
